O&O SafeErase is available in four Editions:
• O&O SafeErase Professional Edition
• O&O SafeErase Server Edition
• O&O SafeErase Admin Edition
• O&O SafeErase Tech Edition
The Professional Edition is the version to use for a single PC. It cannot be used on a Server operating system.
The Server Edition is optimized for a server and can be used on both a server as well as on a desktop computer. A special feature of the Server Edition is its ability to simultaneously delete free space and partitions on different physical disks. This is different from the Professional Edition, where deletion is performed successively. This allows you to save considerable time when working with large data volumes.
O&O SafeErase Admin Edition: Licensed personally to a system administrator and may be used on all computers within the company where this admin possesses the necessary permissions. The Admin Edition cannot be installed on machines. It is intended for use purely over the Boot Medium.
O&O SafeErase Tech Edition: Licensed for use as part of a company’s external service providing. It is licensed per technician who may then use this license to delete data on an unlimited number of computers. The Tech Edition cannot be installed on machines. It is intended for use purely over the Boot Medium.
